Can I submit a book proposal if the book is not yet completely written?
Absolutely! In fact, this is often preferable so our team can review your writing, offer feedback and a few suggestions to help along the way toward a finished product.

Why not just self-publish my book?
Self-publishing is always an option for you and you will want to explore it. If you are self-motivated, comfortable with your manuscript, able to format your manuscript for printing guidelines and design a cover for your book, then you may find self-publishing is the way to go. On the other hand, if you need some help with editing, formatting, cover design, layout, ISBN and Library of Congress Numbers, Copyrights as well as getting your book set up for Amazon and Barnes & Noble booksellers, then you may want to reconsider working with a publisher like Leitourgia Press. And by working with LP you would have a team of trained professionals behind your work to help you reach your dream!

Can you help me write my book?
We can't write your book for you, but we can provide consultation to help you take your ideas and thoughts and translate them into a working manuscript, including the book's development, the title, chapters, genre and editing. Since these services are unique to every author's needs we will provide you a quote on our fees.

How does pricing work for publication?
We offer several packages for you, depending upon your needs and how much work you want to do in preparation for publication.
(The following options are both based on manuscripts with a final page count of 200 or less. Additional charges will apply to books over 200 pages.)

  • OPTION 1: Standard Publication
This is the most cost-effective way to get your book published. But it also means you will have to do most of the setup work, including Final Editing, Interior Content Formatting and Cover Design. For this option a one-time Contract Fee of $500 will cover: ISBN Number, Library of Congress Number, Copyright Acquisition, Amazon/Barnes & Noble Setup, and one Proof. In addition to the Contract Fee you, as author, agree to purchase a minimunm of 500 of your printed books, which will be shipped to you directly. Although actual costs are based on several factors (E.g. page count, size, binding, illustrations, etc.), the typical cost is about $10 per book for a book with a $15 retail value. That means you will be able to sell your 500 copies and profit $2,500 on those direct sales.

  • OPTION 2: Premium Publication
Most authors feel comfortable with their content, but require assistance with all the other components involved in getting your book to press. For this option a one-time Contract Fee of $900 will cover: ISBN Number, Library of Congress Number, Copyright Acquisition, Amazon/Barnes & Noble Setup, and three Proofs. It will also include Interior Content Formatting and Cover Design. As with the Standard Option, in addition to the Contract Fee you, as author, agree to purchase a minimunm of 500 of your printed books, which will be shipped to you directly. Although actual costs are based on several factors (E.g. page count, size, binding, illustrations, etc.), the typical cost is about $10 per book for a book with a $15 retail value. That means you will be able to sell your 500 copies and profit $2,500 on those direct sales.
